What is the official GTA6 release date?
Rockstar lists November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Older references to 2025 or May 2026 are historical dates and should not be treated as current.

Preload and physical edition details
Digital preloading begins at local midnight on November 12, 2026. Rockstar says the physical version also becomes available that day so buyers can preload before launch.
The physical box contains a digital download code. Rockstar explicitly says a disc is not included. Account region rules still apply, so buy a code intended for the region of your PlayStation account. Xbox codes are listed as region-free in Rockstar's support information.
